1. Vajrai Waterfall



Bhambavli Vajrai waterfall is the tallest waterfall in India. Is a waterfall on the Urmodi river, situated approximately 27 kilometres from the city of Satara city (A well-known flower valley), Maharashtra, and near Sahyadri hill. It is roughly 1840 ft (560 m). Kunchikal falls is formed by Varahi river. The area is famous for squirrels, reptiles, a variety of unique birds, rare reptiles. Visit with caution greatly reduced and visible only during the rainy season (July-Sept). As the falls is within a restricted area, Gate pass is required to visit and the pass is being issued at Hosangadi village (about 15 km away).

Barehipani Falls is a first two-tiered waterfall located in Odisha's Simlipal National Park in Mayurbhanj  Odisha and the third of the highest waterfalls in India. The Barehipani Falls has a total height of 399 metres (1,309 ft). This waterfall is tucked into the green forest making it ideal for a visit by trekkers and nature enthusiasts. The waterfall is situated on the Budhabalanga river which flows into the Bay of Bengal. This waterfall is known for its beauty that it adds to Odisha.

4. Nohkalikai Falls


Nohkalikai Falls is the fourth tallest plunge waterfall in India. Its total height is 1115 feet (340 metres) above ground. The name is supposed to come from the story of an aggrieved mother, named Ka Likai, who jumped off the edge of the cliff and turned into this beautiful waterfall. The waterfall is one of the wettest places on Earth. Below the falls there has formed a plunge pool with unusual green coloured water and unpolluted.

5. Nohsngithiang Falls


Nohsgithiang Falls also known as the seven sister waterfall or Mawsmai falls. It is located in Meghalaya. The waterfalls from a height of 315 metres (1,033 ft) and has an average width of 70 metres (230 ft) and its come on the fifth tallest waterfalls in India. The waterfalls get illuminated by the sun and the vibrant colours of the setting sun on the waterfalls make it beautiful these stunningly waterfalls are divided neatly into seven parts a must-see.

6. Meenmutty Falls


Located in the Wayanad district of Kerala, the Meenmutty Falls descend from a height of 980 ft and the sixth tallest waterfall in India.
